Emmy was born in Bloomington and raised here for most of her childhood. After graduating in 2022 with her undergraduate degree in sociology, Emmy leaned into the joy she finds in caring for children in the community. She has experience in infant, toddler, and preschooler classrooms. Now pursuing a graduate degree in teaching, learning, and curriculum -- with an early childhood care and education focus -- Emmy is particularly passionate about supporting young children in working to foster meaningful connections between themselves and the world around them.
