About Us - Our Story

In 2011, New Hope was founded as the only emergency housing solution in Monroe County that keeps families intact; meaning families with adults & children of all ages and any composition.

Quickly we realized that in order to allow parents to work and for the often traumatized children to catch up with other kids, we needed high quality early childhood development & daycare.

Dealing with the challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. New Hope for Families emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. We’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support.
