Alicia Weaver

Shelter Director

Alicia is a native Hoosier and recently returned to the area after several years working in Washington, DC. She holds a Bachelor of Science in human services (2016, Johnson University) and a Master of Science in industrial and organizational psychology (2025, Walden University). Alicia has spent her career working directly with families experiencing homelessness, supporting them through crisis, housing instability, and complex systems of care. She is passionate about meeting families where they are, building trust, and creating a safe, supportive environment where families can begin to regain stability. Alicia is deeply committed to our mission to keep families together and she believes emergency shelter can be a meaningful starting point for long-term change. Outside of work, Alicia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new places, and hanging out with her dogs, Kato and Cash.
